Caafi Health CIC is seeking a passionate Health Ambassador to support an NHS England project focused on increasing awareness and uptake of the HPV vaccine in Weston-super-Mare and surrounding areas. The role targets communities with lower vaccine confidence, particularly within globally majority populations across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG).

In partnership with Sirona Care & Health and the NHS BNSSG Vaccination Programme, you’ll help:

  • Promote understanding of the HPV vaccine

  • Share accurate, accessible health information

  • Support local wellbeing and access to services

  • Gather and report community feedback

Ideal candidates will:

  • Be connected to and trusted by their local community

  • Have experience in community support or outreach

  • Be proactive, independent, and flexible

  • Ideally have a full driving licence and transport

  • Be based in or near Weston-super-Mare

We offer flexible working, including some evening and weekend hours.

Care Support Worker

Caafi Health Care is looking for kind and reliable Care Support Workers to join our team. You will provide practical and emotional support to individuals and families, helping them to maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing in their homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support

  • Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and medication

  • Support service users with access to community services and health appointments

  • Promote wellbeing through companionship, encouragement, and culturally sensitive care

  • Keep accurate records and communicate effectively with the wider support team

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Has own car

  • Able to communicate and write clearly in English

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and pass a DBS check

Desirable:

  • Previous care experience

  • Completion of the Care Certificate
