We are seeking a Finance Officer who will play a central role in maintaining the financial stability, transparency, and sustainability of Caafi Health CIC & Care Limited.
The post-holder will be responsible for managing the organisation’s day-to-day finances, ensuring effective budget monitoring, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting compliance with statutory and funder requirements. The role involves working closely with programme leads and the senior leadership team to provide timely financial insights that inform decision-making and long-term planning.
This is a hands-on role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to balance routine transactional work with more analytical tasks. The Finance Officer will also contribute to strengthening financial systems and processes, helping the organisation meet its strategic objectives and support our mission to reduce health inequalities.

Ideal candidates will have:
Essential
AAT Level 4 or equivalent (minimum).
2+ years’ finance experience, ideally in charity, health, or care settings.
Strong skills in budget monitoring, variance analysis, and management reporting.
Experience in payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow management.
Proficient in Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero, with advanced Excel skills.
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance staff.
High accuracy, attention to detail, and capability to prioritise workload.
Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and professional standards.
Desirable
Studying towards or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).
Experience with grant funding, reporting to funders, and managing restricted/unrestricted income.
Knowledge of charity accounting and statutory reporting.
Experience in improving financial systems or processes.
