Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men in the UK. Every year, more than 50,000 men are diagnosed, and it mainly affects those over the age of 50. The risk is higher for Black men and for those with a family history of the disease.

The prostate is a small gland located below the bladder that helps produce semen. Prostate cancer develops when cells in this gland grow uncontrollably. In many cases, it grows slowly and may not cause symptoms for years. However, some types are more aggressive and require prompt treatment. Join our event and learn more about prostate health.
