Cancer affects millions of people and families every year, making awareness, early detection, and community support more important than ever. Our Community Wellness & Cancer Awareness Day has been created to bring people together in a welcoming and supportive space where everyone can learn more about cancer prevention, recognise early signs and symptoms, and discover the free screening and support services available locally.
This event is open to all ages and encourages families to attend together, with free childcare and face painting available for children while adults take time to focus on their health and wellbeing. Guests will also enjoy a relaxing sound bath session, opportunities to connect with others, and a free light lunch as we come together to promote hope, awareness, and healthier communities.
Caafihealth and Macmillan Cancer Support are collaborating on this mission to increase cancer survival rates and improve experiences for Black and Minoritised communities.
